Getting Here

hidden valley waterfall

Reaching Hidden Valley is part of the experience.
Whether you arrive by air or by road, the transition is gradual and intentional. By the time you pass through our gates, you’ll understand: the stillness here isn’t accidental. It’s protected.

Arrive by Helicopter

Most guests drive in. The road through Mountain Pine Ridge is beautiful, but it takes time. The helicopter does not.

In roughly 20 minutes from Belize City, the pine forests open up below you, the 1,000 Foot Falls comes into view, and Hidden Valley appears the way it was meant to be seen: from above, small against the reserve that surrounds it.

Private helicopter transfers can be arranged upon request. Detours over the Great Blue Hole and 1,000 Foot Falls are available for guests who want to make the journey part of the itinerary.

Arrive by Air

Helicopter Transfer
Private helicopter transfers can be arranged for a direct arrival into Mountain Pine Ridge, above the reserve.

Private Charter
Private helicopter or fixed-wing transfers can be arranged upon request for a seamless arrival directly into Mountain Pine Ridge.

Scenic Detours
These services offer detours for 1000ft Fall and the Great Blue Hole which can be a part of your trip.

Into The Reserve

Hidden Valley is approximately:

2.5 hours from Belize City
1 hour from San Ignacio/Belmopan
3 hours from Placencia (via western route)
2 hours from Dangriga
1.5 hours from Western Border

We recommend arranging a private transfer through Hidden Valley whenever possible.

Our drivers know the reserve and the surrounding backroads well, allowing you to relax and enjoy the changing landscapes as the journey moves from open savanna into the quiet forests of Mountain Pine Ridge.

While self-driving is certainly possible, the final stretch can be remote and is best navigated by someone familiar with the terrain, especially during the green season.
