Hidden Valley is a private nature reserve set on 7,290 acres of wilderness in the northern Maya Mountains of Belize. Jungle, waterfalls, rainforest and pine forest are home to a diverse population of animal species including five of Belize’s native cats and threatened and endangered birds such as the orange-breasted falcon, solitary eagle and stygian owl.
An area of awesome beauty in landscape, flora and fauna, Hidden Valley Reserve includes 90 miles of well maintained trails, crystal clear creeks, majestic waterfalls (including 5 major waterfalls), verdant ravines and breathtaking vistas. Over 100 species of wildlife live here as the reserve contains not only jungle, but Caribbean pine forest, a unique ecosystem not found elsewhere in the world.

Recognized as a “managed resource protected area” by the International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN), Hidden Valley’s diverse landscape includes the water source Barton Creek, the peaks and ravines of the Maya Mountains of Belize, and an abundance of animal and plant species.
All profits from The Inn are used to maintain the private reserve.
